Nervous you won’t make friends? Unlikely! Afraid you’ll have to give up your hobbies? Not a chance. Get a glimpse into our community programming and what life is like living here by checking out our Facebook page. We frequently share what residents have been doing to stay active, involved, and living life to the fullest.
Lakeview Senior Living has always been a pet-friendly community. Our residents love animals and wanted to get involved with a local organization that helps out our furry friends in need.
The Foothills Animal Shelter in Lakewood is the only full-service animal shelter serving Jefferson ...County. Their mission is to "Make Lives Better for People and Pets" by collaborating with our community to improve the lives of thousands of pets each year, which creates a better society for all. We asked Foothills Animal Shelter how our residents could best support their organization, and they gave us a "wish list," which included making tie blankets and healthy homemade dog biscuits for some of the animals in the shelter. Last week Lakeview residents toured the shelter and delivered the tie blankets, dog snacks, and other items that our residents have donated over the past few weeks.
Residents at homestead received donated CBD products from South Pointe Hemp and CBD to use for their soap-making project. There are many reasons to try CBD soap; it has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, so it can be helpful for conditions like acne and eczema as ...well as aiding in reducing sore, achy muscles.

Throughout the month of May, Homestead residents are learning about the history of #mosaicart. As part of their art program, they created beautiful pebble art.
They channeled their inner Coco Chanel and created these fashion-inspired art pieces ✨📸
Throughout May, Lakeview residents have learned about different types of Mexican art and culture. Residents learned more about the history of sugar skulls in Mexico, known as Calaveras De Azúcar in Spanish. Sugar Skulls are traditional folk art from southern Mexico, and they're used as ...symbols to remember and honor the dead.
Lakeview's Gardening Club has been busy getting ready for Spring. This week we planted annuals in the flower pots that residents had previously decorated themselves. Our residents agreed; it felt good to get our hands a little dirty.
✨Resident Spotlight ✨Bob is one of our talented residents at HighPointe. During COVID, he decided to try a new activity - 3D wood puzzles! Since then, Bob has created more than 25 astonishing structures. Bob shared one of his favorite pieces with the residents, a moving Ferris Wheel, which took... roughly 25 hours to complete. Bob says you're never too old to start something new and that it has taught him lots of patience.
