Our residents got crafty this week, and everyone completely agreed: if these little homes were just tiny enough, we would all want to move right in! While they might be a bit too small for us to live in, they are going to ...make the most perfect, homey additions to our hallways.

Instead of just being decorative, these sweet little birdhouses are going to be placed right beside our residents' front doors to serve as a designated spot to hang their keys when they come home. We absolutely love a craft that is just as practical as it is adorable!

They say April showers bring May flowers, and that has certainly come true here at Lombard Place! 🌸☔️

After a very rainy end to April, we decided the best way to cheer everyone up was to bring a little bit of sunshine right indoors. Our residents gathered together for a wonderful ...afternoon of floral design, carefully arranging their own custom bouquets of vibrant spring blooms.

The best part? These beautiful arrangements are now proudly displayed in their apartments and all throughout our community spaces. It is the perfect, colorful reminder that a bright and sunny May is officially on the way! 🌻

Our Memory Care neighborhood has been completely all aflutter with some very exciting new arrivals! 🦋 To prepare for our brand new "class pets," our residents gathered to craft a stunning butterfly wall hanging featuring vibrant rainbow wings, beautifully made entirely from recycled ...paper scraps from past projects.

This masterpiece is going to hang right above our brand new chrysalis net! We officially welcomed our tiny caterpillars this week—arriving smaller than a pencil eraser!—and our residents are eagerly watching them grow larger every single day. The shared anticipation in the room is simply wonderful. Stay tuned to our page to see the magic happen when they finally emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies!

The ultimate craft party just resulted in a massive neighborhood donation! 🎨 Our entire community rolled up their sleeves and brought the brightest colors imaginable to our tie dye workshop. Residents teamed up with their families to tackle the messy fun, making sure everyone designed two unique... pairs of socks. The collaborative energy was absolutely electric as the donation pile for the Lombard Outreach House grew to nearly thirty pairs. We love watching this vibrant neighborhood band together to create something incredibly impactful and wonderfully fun!
