Our Mother’s Day Monday Tea and Dessert socials provided the perfect setting to gather with friends and family. While the treats were absolutely delicious, the true ...highlight of the day was listening to everyone share heartfelt memories and charming anecdotes about their own mothers. It was a profoundly moving, loving tribute to all things maternal!

The future is in great hands! ✨ We loved welcoming the National Honors Society students from Lake Zurich High School for an afternoon of games, crafts, and a highly competitive multi-generational trivia tournament! Such a beautiful day of connection. 🎨🏆

We had a total nail-biter of a cornhole match in the community this week. Harriet's team was trailing way behind on the scoreboard, but she stepped right up to the boards without breaking a sweat and threw a flawless "Four Bagger"—sinking every single bag straight into the hole! ...The crowd went completely wild as she secured an unbelievable upset victory for her team. We love seeing our residents bring this much competitive spirit, skill, and non-stop laughter to the game. Way to go, Harriet! 🏆🌽

Today, that moment belonged to Joanna. When our live entertainer began playing Cole Porter’s "Just One of Those Things," she didn't just sing along—she was ...transported. As the room listened, Joanna shared the breathtaking story of meeting the love of her life. Suddenly, we weren't just in the community living room; we were standing with her in a bustling mid-century dance hall, swept up in the romance of George Gershwin and Irving Berlin, watching two young people fall completely in love.

Being trusted to hold space for these magnificent, tender chapters of our residents' lives is the greatest honor we have. Joanna’s story left not a single dry eye in the room, and reminded us all why the work we do here matters so deeply.

wonderful coordinator, Cathy, brought a brilliant idea to life to celebrate National Tattoo Week with a very special Memory Care Mixology event. Combining the tactile fun of applying colorful temporary tattoos with the bright, sensory experience of tasting handcrafted mocktails created an afternoon... of pure joy. Watching the residents light up as they showed off their fun new "ink" while sharing drinks and laughter together was the absolute highlight of our week. Thank you, Cathy, for curating such a beautiful and creative afternoon!
