There is a moment during the holidays when age disappears. When eyes light up, smiles soften, and for just a second, we see the child who once waited for Santa with pure wonder.
Our residents were wrapped in that kind of magic with gentle hands, familiar scents, shared laughter, and a very... special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. It reminded us that wonder does not grow old. ❤️🎄✨

Hear From Residents and Family of The Oaks at Algonquin Senior Living!
The decision to move my mom into a memory care facility was unexpected and difficult. The Oaks was impressive the minute we walked in from the comforts of home to the cleanliness to the wonderful staff we met along the way. In particular, the memory care manager, Jen, has been instrumental in the decision to move mom in. She is knowledgeable, empathetic, and has helped us every step of the way. It’s a difficult situation, but knowing my mom is in good hands puts our mind at ease.

My Mom has lived here for several years now, first in independent living and now in memory care. You hear horror stories about senior living facilities, but I have to say, this place is just exceptional. I firmly believe that the staff is helping make my mother's waning years as enjoyable as we could ever expect. The entire team there has been outstanding. I simply cannot recommend them enough.

My mom lives at The Oaks and my brothers and I couldn't be more pleased with their services. Jenn and her team have always given mom the attention, care and respect she deserves and that has provided me peace of mind as I live many states away. They are kind and prompt with all replies. It's a lovely community. We feel blessed to have found The Oaks as a place for mom to call home.

I am at the beginning phase of moving my brother to assisted living. I visited 10 locations and the Oaks of Algonquin far exceeded my expectations. The building is beautiful, the amenities are amazing, the staff and residents that I met were so nice. The residents that I saw out and about told me how much they liked the place. My brother is moving in next month!!!!

Want to know how much they loved my sweet Father-in-law? A group of employees went over to his new, higher level of care facility ON THEIR OWN. I can not tell you how much that brightened his day! And meant the world to us!Thank you for taking such great care of him, making him felt seen, and protecting him at a time of life when these amazing residents need protection.If he sneaks out of his new digs, we will know where to find him.To me, this picture speaks volumes.Thank you.

We were looking for an assisted living facility for my grandma to live in while she lived in Del Webb and my mom found this really nice facility right here. My grandma has been living here for about a year now and she really like her apartment there! They are very good at taking care of the people who live here! Very friendly helpers and also very nice neighbors! This is a very nice place to live in and also everything smells like new in the hallway and also the staff were very nice to us. I would highly recommend anyone who needs support and help for their relatives to live here!

After seriously viewing other retirement locations, it was easy to be impressed with the Oaks!. Brian gave my daughter and me the tour!When my friends learned of my interest, they called the next day and Brian showed them through. They were impressed, too….the space, color, activities, friendliness! Thanks to Brian spending time showing off the place I now call home. I hope they sign-up,

My mom was a resident at Oaks at Algonquin with her dog Nina. You can’t imagine how beneficial Nina was to the residents there! They all loved her and she provided the much needed therapy for everyone. Unfortunatelly this is no longer possible as she moved because of David William.She has only let Nina off her leash where there was nobody outside. There was never a risk of her approaching anyone and she never caused any trouble. On the contrary, everyone absolutely loved her.Many people there asked my mom why she was moving and the only answer she gave them was: certain people (like David William) made hers and Nina’s lives incredibly difficult. She was even told that Kim, of the the receptionists there, made up a story that “Nina came viciously to her”. This could never ever happened as my mom was with Nina the whole time and she never saw it and also Nina is extremelly friendly and she loves everyone!Finally, it’s a real shame that such a beautiful place with such wonderful people is managed by someone like David William.

My parents moved into The Oaks in June of 2022. We have been very impressed with the caring and compassionate staff as well as the quality of the food served in their 2 restaurants. Jim and Shelly coordinate many different activities and meaningful events that are especially exceptional and often include family and friends. I often recommend the facility to those looking for a quality retirement community. Our family has been very happy with them!

What a great experience ! It started as we were greeted when we walked in the door. Brian is very knowledgeable about The Oaks. He took us to the desired apts, allowing us to “ get a feel” for the size and style, layout while also answering all questions , ( trust me there were a lot ).As we were looking at the different floor plans, he was also talking and showing us all of the amenities throughout the community. We ended up at the main restaurant, where he invited us to return and enjoy breakfast ,lunch, or dinner, , further getting a feel for what goes on, and resident interaction.After we completed the tour, we asked for a few minutes to sit and chat, but also observe how some of the other residents interact daily. We were very pleased, with the looks, the tour, and also with Brian’s patient and knowledge, and the “No Pressure” attitude.My mom said she felt good about everything!! We agreed to return the next day with my son so he could see and get a feel for the community where she would be staying. He agreed, it was comfortable and the right place for grandma. After having a little discussion, we all agreed and signed the lease.What a wonderful experience for mom, as well as myself, and even my son.Thanks Brian !

The staff is absolutely delightful. They provide compassionate care and have really fun activities that are mentally stimulating. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need.

I have already told many of my friends about this beautiful new community. The amenities are amazing and yet you feel at home. The management and staff however put it over the top. I have never worked with a more accommodating, professional and caring staff who really do all they can to help and make you feel important and at home.My Dad has been there only a month, but the staff continues to learn his needs and provide him the best possible environment.

An absolutely stunning facility, the layout is outstanding and well thought out, the staff are very friendly. I sampled food made by their chef and it was exquisite. The campus hosts a movie theatre, multiple dining rooms, art activities room, gathering/recreation room, multiple outdoor patios, just too many too list. You have to come and see it for yourself. You will be impressed and blown away by all the amenities The Oaks of Algonquin has to offer. Thank you
