The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.
The responsibilities for this role include:

As Vice President, Regulatory Compliance & Resident Care, you’ll provide enterprise leadership for regulatory compliance, resident care standards, clinical quality, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You’ll help set the standard for how our communities deliver care, prepare for and navigate regulatory surveys, manage risk, and achieve measurable quality outcomes.
This is a highly collaborative role for a leader who can translate complex regulatory and clinical requirements into practical solutions. You’ll partner with Operations, regional and community leadership, and resident care teams to identify trends, strengthen performance, and ensure our communities consistently deliver the quality of care and resident experience Spectrum expects.
What You’ll Do:
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
· Monitor regulatory requirements and changes across all states in which Spectrum operates and lead the implementation of necessary policy, procedure, and operational updates.
· Review and analyze state survey outcomes, Plans of Correction, State Reportable Events, regulatory fines, and enforcement actions to identify trends and areas of organizational risk.
· Lead the development and review of Plans of Correction, ensuring identified deficiencies are addressed through effective corrective action and ongoing monitoring.
· Conduct mock surveys and compliance reviews to proactively identify potential deficiencies and strengthen community survey readiness.
· Support communities during state and federal surveys, investigations, and other regulatory proceedings.
· Partner with Operations and Regional Directors of Resident Care to ensure policies and procedures remain current, compliant, practical, and consistently implemented.
Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement
· Lead resident care quality assurance and performance improvement efforts using clinical, operational, survey, incident, and assessment data.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators and identify communities requiring additional focus, support, or corrective action.
· Conduct Care Audits to evaluate resident assessment accuracy, care level assignments, documentation, service delivery, and alignment between services provided and resident billing.
· Identify portfolio-wide trends and root causes and develop systemic solutions that create sustainable improvement.
· Conduct community visits based on operational needs, regulatory risk, leadership changes, performance trends, or other identified priorities.
· Track improvement initiatives and corrective actions to ensure changes result in measurable and sustained performance.
Resident Care Leadership
· Provide strategic leadership for Spectrum's resident assessment, care planning, documentation, and resident care programs.
· Establish standards for individualized care and service plans that address residents' health, functional, cognitive, and psychosocial needs while supporting independence and quality of life.
· Provide leadership and guidance regarding resident care protocols, clinical practices, documentation standards, and escalation procedures.
· Review significant resident incidents involving health, safety, or injury and provide guidance regarding investigation, reporting, corrective action, and follow-up.
· Monitor emerging senior living, healthcare, dementia care, and resident safety practices and recommend enhancements to Spectrum's resident care programs.
