One thing I truly admire here is the beautiful sense of community, where assisted living and independent living residents come together to share meals and activities, fostering a spirit of inclusivity found in few places. When my mom was diagnosed with cognitive impairment, my family and I knew that my mom needed to move to assisted living. We visited a few senior living facilities but Westbrook stood out because it has an upbeat decor and vibe, and not a gloomy atmosphere like the other places we checked out. The Westbrook staff has helped tremendously with my mom’s progression from assisted living to memory care. It has obviously been difficult to see my mom decline from Alzheimer’s and aphasia but knowing that my mom is extremely well taken care of has given my family some peace. My mom is always dressed and clean. My mom is comfortable. Her room is always clean. There are daily activities in MC. It is not just leave the residents to watch tv all day. The amazing staff is always interacting with the residents. There are many staff members who have worked at Westbrook for years. I think that says a lot about how Westbrook is managed and the culture. Throughout this journey the staff has become like family to us. We trust their care with my mom. I highly recommend Westbrook and my family feels blessed for their care.

I found Westbrook through a friend whose mother is there. She started in assisted living and is now in memory care. When I started looking for a facility that could take care of my mom, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I was focusing on memory care units. I found Westbrook to be everything I was looking for in a safe, supportive environment. However, when it came time to move my mom, it was determined that Assisted Living would better serve her at this time. We have been so happy with how things turned out! The facility is beautiful, clean, and mom has a spacious apartment of her own. However, the staff is what makes this place special. They are attentive, kind, and supportive! And Mom is getting more social interaction than she ever got at home. I would, without a doubt, recommend Westbrook as a wonderful facility for anybody's loved one. Frankly, I'd move in there myself if I could.Edit update: My mom's ability to self-advocate has declined and the staff at Westbrook recognized this. She had been moved to memory care and is doing great! She is being monitored continuously and is making friends and being social. I know Mom is in the right place. Thank you Westbrook!

My sweet, older sister has been in the memory care, at Westbrook Senior Living, since July 1st; and I must say it’s been everything I could hope for and more! The entire STAFF is absolutely wonderful, helpful, attentive, thoughtful, warm & caring. This past Sunday we had a simple gathering in the party room upstairs. The room couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you to all at Westbrook. We have peace of mind that she’s in good hands.

Our parents moved to Westbrook in 2020 to the independent apartments during the height of covaid. In 2022, our parents moved to the assisted living apartments at Westbrook. Since then our mom has passed away leaving our 92 year old dad living by himself in the assisted living apartments. The staff taking care of our dad has been wonderful with him. Whenever we came to visit our dad the staff was always friendly and expressed how much they liked our dad. A few months ago we had to make the hardest decision to move our dad into the memory care unit at Westbrook. One of the aids from the assisted living area, CJ, asked to talk with my sister and me. I believe he knew how difficult this decision was for us and he wanted to see how we were doing and our dad was doing. He explained how much he will miss our dad but knew this was the move needed for our dad to get the care he needed. I was genuinely touched CJ reached out to us. CJ said he would be checking on our dad during this transition to make sure our dad was adjusting. This conversation with CJ eased my anxiety of this difficult move for our dad. Our dad has been in memory care for 2 months now. Every time we visit our dad I am impressed with the respect the staff shows all of the residents. I have seen this from the maintenance staff, the aids, the activities director and the director of the memory care unit. Thank you to everyone who has helped our parents the last 5 years and especially to everyone who has helped our dad the last 3 years.

The Holiday Brunch was excellent, everything was so good and the staff takes such good care of us. We have had a wonderful week, singing Christmas carols & hot chocolate, plus doing Christmas crafts. I am so happy here at Westbrook.

Anna, (Executive Director), and her team at Westbrook are incredible. The building is new and well kept, the food is good and the activities keep my mom busy. I live in Oregon, so it is difficult to see my mom on a regular basis. I visited my mom a few weeks ago. Wherever I took my Mom (95 years old) in her wheelchair, staff said hello and took time to be friendly. From the maintenance worker, nurses, assistants, front desk, and others. Even the hairdresser was very caring and courteous. They all know my Mom and were extremely helpful. Like many individuals I love my Mom and it makes me feel good knowing she is being cared for so well. Thank You!

I have been given the gift of joining side by side with the team members for the last six years, assisting in supporting residents when they encounter challenges in their current life situations.I have worked with seniors for the last 10 years, experiencing many different facilities, each with its own environment and management style. I could have continued to work at several other locations, however, I chose to root myself here at Westbrook. The management team’s commitment to both residents, families, and staff shines through. I have not had a single day of “WORK” at Westbrook, rather I got to live with staff and resident alike getting from them as much as I gave.Westbrook is a magical place. Our father was a resident of Westbrook Senior Living in the Memory Care unit for close to 3 years. His initial placement at another local facility was unpleasant at best and my family and I are forever grateful that we found Westbrook. From the beginning the staff worked tirelessly to help him adapt to his new reality even in the face of severe illness. He was cared for by every member of the staff as if he was one of their own family, as all the residents there are. The facility is very pretty, clean and comfortable, the meals are nicely prepared and any other needs the residents have are taken care of with a smile. The director Aksel and his staff are some of the kindest, hardest working and most unflappable people I have had the pleasure to meet and my family and we trusted them implicitly to care for our dad and they never ever let us down. When he passed away they made our whole family welcome and comfortable and many of them came in to pay respects. Honestly we could not have hoped for a better experience and I'm sure my dad would agree.

The leasing lady Jocelyn showed us the place last week and it was so nice and clean. I don’t feel guilty anymore about trying to put my parents in a home. This is luxury living. Everyone was so nice and the staff actually knew the names of the people that lived there. We just popped in and they were ready to show us the place. It’s obvious they care.

Westbrook Senior Living Community is far Superior of any of the Communities that my Mom Lived in or that we visited. The entire staff from the caregivers especially Josefina and Virginia to the Nurses especially Stella and to the operations Aksel, Kristen and Cynthia they all are very caring, helpful and respectful to all the seniors. My Mom has truly found a place she can call home. We are so appreciative for all the services provided by Westbrook Senior Living.

Westbrook Senior Living took excellent care of our mom. She experienced independent living, assisted living and memory care during her stay. At every level of care she was shown respect and treated extremely well. The amount of care she received was personalized to meet her physical and mental health needs. All the staff are very friendly, it's new, so it's very clean, and the view is beautiful. Convenient meal service and resident nursing service are great for adults. The price depends on the room size.
