One blanket finished, with more already underway. 🧶❤️

Our Memory Care neighborhood recently started Blankets of Love, working together a few times each month to create no-sew fleece blankets that will eventually be donated to a local NICU.

Their first blanket is officially ...complete, and work on the second has already begun. Our first little monkey blanket turned out SO cute! 🐒💕 There is something pretty special about knowing how many hands helped create it and how much love and laughter went into making it.

Over the coming months, they’ll continue building their collection with the goal of bringing a little extra comfort to babies and families who need it.

We packed a lot of fun into August! 🎨✍️🚐🍨

Memory Care residents spent the month creating personalized picture frames, going on scavenger hunts, enjoying social hours, journaling, and writing letters to family and friends.

Of course, we made time for a few adventures ...too! Scenic drives got us out and about, and our trip to Fitz's brought us face-to-face with some of the biggest floats we've ever seen. The reactions were priceless! 😂

What a fun month from beginning to end!

Today, we celebrate the people at the heart of our communities and the experiences, achievements, and contributions that have shaped generations. Their stories are still being written, with more to learn, more to experience, more to contribute, and plenty more life to live.

Creativity brought everyone together. 🌿🧱

Residents and families enjoyed an evening putting together building block succulents and flowers during our Bloom & Build Family Night. The room was filled with conversation, laughter, and a little friendly teamwork as everyone created ...colorful keepsakes to take home.

A special thank you to Zoe from Bloom Healthcare for joining us and introducing families to the services available through our new partnership. Most of all, thank you to everyone who spent the evening making memories with us!

What a month it's been in Memory Care! 💙

July was filled with creativity, music, outings, and moments that made us smile.

We welcomed four playful kittens—Lucy, Ricky, Ethel, and Fred—who quickly became part of the family. Residents explored their artistic side through... painting projects, enjoyed lunch at Applebee's, admired classic cars at our community car show, and celebrated summer during our Stars, Stripes & Neon Lights event.

To top it all off, our sunflower finally bloomed, bringing a bright reminder that wonderful things continue to grow with a little love and care.

Here's to another month of making memories together. We can't wait to see what August brings!

Our Cars, Music & Community event brought together beautiful vehicles, live music, and plenty of conversation, but one car stood out for a different reason.

One of our residents had her son bring her own car to the show so she could proudly share it with friends and neighbors. Watching... her reminisce, tell stories, and pose for photos beside a car that's been part of her life made for one of the most meaningful moments of the day.

A little paint, a little spin, and a whole lot of fun...

Residents tried their hand at spin art for the first time, creating vibrant masterpieces full of unexpected patterns and color. There was plenty of laughter, tons of paint splatters, and a whole lot of excitement as each new design ...was revealed.

It's safe to say, spin art will be back!

A different way to get moving. 🥁🎶

Exercise drumming keeps both the body and mind engaged by combining movement, coordination, and rhythm into one energetic workout.

Sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen on paper. 💙✍️

Each resident has a personal journal where they can write about favorite memories, the people they love, or simply whatever is on their mind. Family members are always welcome to read their loved one's journal and... even leave a note in return.

One of our favorite stories has been watching a husband in Memory Care and his wife in Assisted Living exchange handwritten letters through their journals. It's a beautiful reminder that love can always find its way to the page.
