Peakview went Hollywood for Halloween! We had a bear scouting our snack stash, Dora brushing up on her Spanish, and the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man avoiding the kitchen (probably for the best). Our unicorn kept it classy, adding a little sparkle to the spooky day.

Hear From Residents and Family of Gardens at Ocotillo Senior Living!

I set my appointment to tour the facility about four hours ahead via text and had several texts between us. The last text said that a representative would call shortly, however, after three hours I had heard from no one. Upon arrival at the time of my appointment, I was told that there were no appointments scheduled. The gracious lady at the front desk tried for 15 minutes to find someone to give me a tour. Finally, she was able to get Kenyata, whom I believe is the head of maintenance, to answer my questions and show me around. Kenyata did a great job of helping me around your facility and answering all of my questions.I think you may have an excellent facility and staff, however, I question the ability of management to lead this operation when they so poorly handled my appointment and tour. Two very bright spots were the front desk person, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, and Kenyata.

My Mother has lived at Gardens at Ocotillo in Memory Care for the past 2 years, 3 months. Many adjustments made over this time but for the last year+, runs like a well oiled machine. The Memory Care manager Thelma Watome her care staff, Activities Director, etc. are awesome. They understand the emotions and what you are going through. They do jot judge. My Mom is loved and treated like family. She is comforted by her friends (the other residents). Her room is kept clean. They are able to choose from a menu for their meals. The staff outside of the Memory Care also care for those in Memory Care when needed and they find joy in doing it. They know my Mom. I understand it is a difficult decision to place your loved one in this new environment. Trust in the process of adjustment. Soon you will feel relief knowing they are cared for at The Gardens. -P. David Hatfield gave us a wonderful tour of his lovely property. He was friendly, caring and funny. Feeling comfortable with the person helping you make a decision of this magnitude is very important. Our thanks to David for his kindness; we very much enjoyed touring the Gardens at Ocotillo.

The Gardens was a very relaxing time for me. Two staff members made it an excellent experience and those staff members were David and Mary Beth.

As a business owner myself I have continued to be impressed with the level of service, the quality of care, cleanliness of the facility and the constant communication that this senior living facility provides. My Dad has been a resident there for almost 2 years and things continue to get better and better. We researched and visited many facilities here in the valley before deciding on this one as my Dad has previously been at another community that was not a place I would recommend. Gardens of Ocotillo stand far above the rest and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones. Even through the crazy Covid year they have been absolutely AMAZING and their transparent communication has been greatly appreciated. Each time I am there it is so obvious how much they love each one of their residents. I have several friends who’s parents are in other communities in the valley and unfortunately they don’t have great things to say and it’s such a shame. I am so great full for everyone who works there and cares so much for my sweet Dad. 5+ stars all around to them.

I would give 6 stars if I could! The Gardens of Ocotillo is so great with my grandpa Bob. I was so hesitant with finding the right fit for my family but I couldn’t be happier. Besides the fact that it’s beautiful and up-kept, the staff here really does love what they do. It’s such a community feel which is rare for these places! I used to work in several locations being a caregiver, so I can say first hand how great the people here are! Everyone seems to know everyone, and the energy is always so positive and warm. If you’re looking for a peaceful, inviting, engaging place for your loved one... this is it!

Look no further; this is the perfect place for you or your loved ones to live. I found this community for my parents, and they have lived in both assisted and independent apartments, either way, you cannot go wrong. The staff here is accommodating and friendly. They know and care about all of the residents. The apartments are beautiful, and the property includes a pool, a few different types of rec rooms, a gym, movie theater, and a library. The staff ensure there are a wide variety of activities each day, movies, trivia, bowling on the Wii (surprisingly popular), bingo, arts and crafts, themed meals, happy hours, various outings, etc. They've even been known to have specialists come in for hands-on assistance with handheld devices for residents. I really can't say enough how grateful I am for the Gardens at Ocotillo and their staff. The precautions they've taken to ensure residents have been safe during COVID has been outstanding. Meals to their rooms ( based off the resident ordering from a menu in advanced), regular communications including town hall meetings from the doorways of their apartments, no non-essential outside visitors, etc. I'm happy and comfortable with my family being a member of this community. If you're looking for yourself or a family member, I highly recommend visiting this community.

I visited the Gardens of Ocotillo and was immediately impressed. Of course their building is beautiful, but what impressed me the most was the staff interaction with their residents, the smiles on the residents faces and you could truly see the staff loves what they do. I was toured by Dave and he was kind and warm. He knew the residents names and as he toured me he would always greet his residents as they passed by. I would definitely recommend this community if your looking for a place that will keep your loved engaged and happy.

The Gardens & Staff are Great! Our mother has lived at the Gardens for almost 2 years. Recently she moved to a new larger apartment. The staff, especially Tammy Ojwang, Executive Director, was helpful, expeditious and efficient throughout the entire process. She kept us informed at each step of the process, ensuring my mother's care and happiness with the change was paramount, keeping the family fully informed. The Gardens is a beautiful facility, well appointed with awesome staff & leadership. We and our mother is extremely happy living at the Gardens! We highly recommend this complex!!

The Gardens at Ocotillo has created such a beautiful environment of love, caring, laughter and community. My parents moved in about a year ago, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. The entire staff treats the residents with respect and kindness. After my dad past away, Mom was surrounded by people who truly cared and showered her with love, both from the other residents and the staff. I can't say enough about the Gardens at Ocotillo.. Thank you for all you do!
