Their journey began when they were found, along with their litter mates, dumped ...at the shelter. Thankfully, they were whisked away to safety and brought to Colorado.

#Mukbang 😋... a Korean term used to describe an “eating show” broadcasted online 📱. Inspired by recent TikTok taste-testing trends, our residents ventured out to our local Pan-Asia Supermarket to explore various international foods & snacks 🍱! Enriched with over 10,000 different ...Asian products, our residents were thrilled to peruse the store and bring back some treats of their own! Japanese Lays chips with flavors of seaweed 🍙 (10/10!), Indian Hide & Seek cookies (a delightful blend of graham cracker and chocolate chip cookie 🍫 taste), Ginza strawberry cake (fluffy, with a strawberry-like fig Newton 🍓 flavor), mini koala 🐨 shaped stuffed bites from Korea, & much more! Shirley exclaimed, “These chips are more flavorful than any American ones I’ve tried for sure” 🤩! Our residents were delighted with their choices & are eager to repeat the experience 🔥! We are grateful for the opportunity to venture out, try new experiences, & learn more about other cultures 🌎.

✨Story Time: Reunited after decades apart! 🌟 Joyce's heartwarming reunion with her dear friend Kumar brought tears of joy to our eyes at Cedar Lake's Monday Afternoon Tea. 💖 Their friendship, forged in 1986 at a restaurant, stood the test of time and miles. Despite Joyce's ...move to Cedar Lake and Kumar's journey from Sri Lanka, fate intervened to bring them together once more.

🎉 The entire community gathered in excitement, hanging onto every word of their incredible journey. Joyce's smile, radiant as ever, illuminated the room as she and Kumar reminisced about old times. 🌱

Kumar's heartfelt words echoed the sentiment shared by all: "In January 2024, driven by a longing to reconnect, I embarked on a mission to find Joyce. The moment our eyes met, time ceased to exist, and we were transported back to our cherished past. 💫 Her embrace filled me with emotions, reaffirming the strength of our bond."

Coming out of COVID, they experienced problems but the improvements implemented by the current management has affirmed their commitment to quality care. My father has been there for a week now and he and I are really impressed by how quickly all of the staff knows him and how friendly and present all of them are for the resident's needs. I can tell this is not just a job for them.

Westview is full of caring people doing their very best to care for and tend to the needs of the residents, After having my Mom in another "facility" that will remain unnamed, Westview was a breath of fresh air. Everyone from the ladies who make sure everyone is well to the chefs and servers in the dining room, the Staff, the Wellness and Assisted Living Directors and Executive Director and all those I am forgetting to name are sincere, good people who truly care about who they are serving and how they do it. A loving environment for my Mom who has acclimated from her house in the country to her beautiful 4 room apartment with the help of all of the folks at Westview who truly try to make it home. We are blessed to have found them and even more blessed by all of them every day.

We have found Westview to be a stellar and unique assisted living community. Our dad lived on his own until a bad fall last winter. He is a very young 96 years of age and can do just about anything he has always done. It is hard to find a facility which acknowledges and appreciates that in a resident. Our most important criteria in assisting him in finding a residence was to find a place where his intellect, personality and talents were appreciated.Besides being a lovely, homey community with a caring, kind staff, the people at Westview treat Dad as a contemporary with respect, kindness and a love of life that is wonderful to see. The staff got to know him immediately which allowed him to develop a sense of belonging that is so important to all of us.

I would like to highly recommend Westview at Ellisville Assisted Living for their loved one. My mother was a resident there for over a year, until she passed away last month. I cannot say enough nice things about the care she received and the very caring and loving staff. They were very attentive to her needs, and were very patient with her moods and stubbornness. I found that there was a low turnover of staff, so it was easy for me to deal with someone who was familiar with her. The care she received was over and above what I expected. They were quick to call if something did not seem right with her health. Excellent care to the end. They treated my mom and I like family.

My parents have been at Westview at Ellisville for over 6 months and we have all been very pleased with their expertise and care. During my first visit to Westview, a lady stopped me in the hall and asked if I was considering Westview as a home for my parents. She told me that her mother had been there for 3 years and they were very satisfied with the care and treatment, and would highly recommend it. After experiencing Westview for myself, I too am extremely satisfied with the care and feel very fortunate to have discovered Westview. Their entire staff is extremely caring and supportive of my parents. Both my parents have experienced some health / rehab issues, and we couldn't have asked for a more caring staff to help them through those times. My father also thinks the food is very good.

My mother has been at Westview about a year now. We love the staff and the facilities are wonderful. The nursing staff is very responsive as are all the other departments. Everyone always has a smile or a hello. The activities are abundant and varied. They include everything from outings and exercises to bingo and movie nights. The most important thing is that she is not alone and has people to interact with and to watch over her.
