Residents at homestead received donated CBD products from South Pointe Hemp and CBD to use for their soap-making project. There are many reasons to try CBD soap; it has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, so it can be helpful for conditions like acne and eczema as ...well as aiding in reducing sore, achy muscles.

Mountain Park residents put on their very own Variety Show for the community and they LIT up the room with their amazing performances. They enjoyed sharing their talents with their fellow peers and inspiring others to never stop pursuing their passions!

#FriendsoftheCommunity is a club that started in January amongst residents at Doughtery Ferry as their New Year’s Resolution, collectively, was to try to help people and animals in the community. They are working with Clare’s House a foster facility ❤️

Throughout the month of May, Homestead residents are learning about the history of #mosaicart. As part of their art program, they created beautiful pebble art.

They channeled their inner Coco Chanel and created these fashion-inspired art pieces ✨📸

Our Mother's Day Mad Hatter's Tea was an absolute Wonderland of whimsy and delight, where curious souls delighted in enchanting treats, playful riddles, and tea-time merriment fit for the Queen of Hearts herself! Mothers and daughters were brought together to enjoy this beautiful ...afternoon!

Last week's mixed media art show at Palmilla was a wonderful celebration of creativity and community! We were thrilled to see such a great turnout and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, including the residents who participated and their families. The art show ...showcased the incredible talents of our residents, who poured their hearts and souls into their pieces. The beauty and diversity of the artwork on display blew us away.
We look forward to hosting more in the future!

✨Resident Spotlight ✨Bob is one of our talented residents at HighPointe. During COVID, he decided to try a new activity - 3D wood puzzles! Since then, Bob has created more than 25 astonishing structures. Bob shared one of his favorite pieces with the residents, a moving Ferris Wheel, which took... roughly 25 hours to complete. Bob says you're never too old to start something new and that it has taught him lots of patience.

We just placed my father at this location. We love it, even being there only two weeks when he walks downstairs everybody calls him by name and makes him feel good. I would definitely recommend.

Hard to find a place that will do the little things to care for a loved one, but Palmilla does. Have experience with a casita for my mom and aunt, and now my mom in Memory Care. It's all been very caring, and as good as we can ask for. Warm, loving staff. Helpful, communicative. No one wants to have a loved one in assisted living, but if we must, in Albuquerque, this is the place to go. My brothers and I are very happy with Palmilla. Thanks!

With very few exceptions the care my mom has received is amazing! We are constantly in contact and managing her needs while being in quarantine! The care team is exceptional with my mom’s specific issues. Kaitlyn is just one of many rockstars at Palmilla!

I can't say enough about Marcy Reames and the support I received from her when I not only once, but twice, considered moving my folks moving into Palmilla. The decision to move them out of their home and into a place where they would be provided more support and help was a very difficult one to make...especially with parents who in no way wanted to leave their home. The guidance and support provided me by Marcy was outstanding. She was extremely understanding about my situation and helped guide me.

I have been talking with Marcy for over a year about moving a parent into assisted living. She is responsive, thoughtful and kind. She made a challenging situation considerably less so. Looking forward to the opportunities that Palmilla has to offer.

The staff at Palmilla became like family to Mom and me over the past 14 months. I always knew she was well cared for and I didn't need to worry about her safety. Many times they brought her meals. I could call anytime and ask to talk with the med techs or caregivers. They always gave me time to ask questions and never made me feel like I was interrupting. Quite a few times they helped search for lost hearing aides or shoes or just checked on her for me when I couldn't reach her by phone. Mom's final week in Memory Care was such a good move! Mom was at peace and content when she passed because of the extra care. I will be forever grateful to so many of the staff.

We have multiple clients that live in Assisted Living and Independent Living at Palmilla. They are extremely happy. We go do visits often to make sure they have everything they need, and as an owner, I am always very impressed with Palmilla. Everyone is friendly and welcomes you when you are there. The food is really good, and we love to help them when they do their activities and events with their residents.

My Mother had been living at Fairwinds for about 5 years. Repairs in her apartment were not fixed as promised. The nursing staff was not consistent in regards to dispensing of medication times. My mother was even given the wrong dosage of medication at times. Went to Palmilla, just walking thru those doors there was a positive energy about the place. We were greeted by all the staff, as well as the residents. We got a chance to eat lunch while we were touring the facility. The food was acceptable. The whole environment was bright. Had a chance to talk to some of the residents and not one had anything negative to say about the facility. Should of made this move to this facility a long time ago.

After visiting many assisted living facilities in town we discovered Palmilla Senior Living for my grandma with dementia. The entire time she was there she was always happy. The entire building is always bright and lively. The food and dining room is wonderful. She never once complained about being there. Every one of the staff either working with her directly or not was extremely caring. We noticed very little turnover in staff and the care coordinator, Lizz, was incredible the entire time. Both assisted living and memory care were exceptional. The gang at Palmilla made my grandmas time there enjoyable and exciting and it was a great experience for our entire family.
