A little taste of Paris—right here in Arizona. 🇫🇷

As part of our month-long celebration of French culture, residents enjoyed lunch at Café Paris, where savory and sweet crêpes were the stars of the menu. The Crêpes Suzette quickly became a favorite, and the afternoon was filled ...with delicious food, great conversation, and plenty of joie de vivre.

In celebration of Bastille Day, we spent the month exploring the sights, flavors, and traditions of France. One of the highlights was a French baking demonstration featuring homemade cherry clafoutis and amandines à l'ancienne.

Resident ...Ann, who recently returned from a trip to France with her daughter, joined in the fun by sharing stories from her travels and helping in the kitchen. It was a wonderful way to experience a little taste of France without leaving home. Bon appétit!

A trip to Oldie's introduced us to giant scoops, delicious sundaes, and a new favorite local spot. Judging by the smiles around the table, we'll definitely be back.

We hosted a Father's Day supper for the gentlemen of the community, complete with brats, beer, German apple cake, and a soundtrack of polka music.

The group spent the evening swapping stories, tackling sports and history trivia, and enjoying time together. One resident even claimed ...the unofficial title for most children in the room with five.

It was a great way to celebrate Father's Day weekend with good food, good company, and plenty of laughs.

This Juneteenth, we reflect on the significance of freedom and the power of perseverance. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from the generations who have witnessed history, shared their stories, and helped create a more inclusive future for all.

We recently spent the afternoon selecting flowers and creating arrangements of our own. No two bouquets looked alike, and that was part of the fun. A special thank you to Laurie for helping provide the flowers... that made this program possible. We're already looking forward to next month's session.
