We had some very special guests take over Aventura Senior Living at Overland Park! 🐶🐱🐾
More than 25 animals from the Heart of America Humane Society joined us for our first adoption event together, and the response was incredible. More than 150 residents, families, friends, and Read morecommunity members stopped by during the two-hour event.
There was no shortage of cuddles, kisses, belly rubs, and wagging tails. Judging by the attention our four-legged visitors received, we'd say they enjoyed the afternoon just as much as we did!
Happy Hour at Aventura often comes with live music, and sometimes the right song is all it takes to bring you to your feet. We love catching moments like this when the music takes over and everything else can wait.

Kansas City from end to end! 🚋☀️
Residents spent the day sightseeing their way through Kansas City aboard the streetcar! The adventure started with a scenic bus ride through beautiful neighborhoods filled with impressive architecture and landscaping before we hopped aboard and rode Read morethe streetcar from one end of the route to the other.
Along the way, we took in some of the city's best-known sights, including the WWI Memorial, Kauffman Center, Crossroads Arts District, Riverfront, and City Market, where we stopped for some much-needed refreshments in the summer heat.
The ride home may have been just as much fun, with plenty of laughs, favorite songs, and conversations about the highlights of the day. 10/10 adventure! 🚋❤️

Our E&P team took over dance class and brought the Cha Cha Slide and Macarena with them. By the laughs, we think the substitute teachers passed.

These three remarkable women first became friends more than six decades ago when their husbands served together as volunteer firefighters. As the years passed, life led each family down a different path, and they lost touch.
