Our residents officially have green thumbs! We spent the afternoon planting our very own seedlings of basil, mint, rosemary, and parsley while learning all about how to use them to elevate our everyday cooking. To ...celebrate our hard work in the soil, we gathered together to enjoy the ultimate garden-inspired treats: ice-cold mint lemonade and warm rolls topped with fresh garlic herb butter. 🤤 It was the perfect sensory afternoon!

We brought the Trader Joe’s floral department right to our residents this week! Our community was buzzing with creativity as everyone designed their very own custom bouquets. Between the amazing scents and the gorgeous spring ...colors, it was the perfect sensory activity. Whether they were independently crafting a unique masterpiece or working alongside our team to arrange the perfect stems, everyone left with a beautiful bouquet and a massive smile!

The weather certainly tried to throw us a curveball this week! Our highly anticipated outdoor spring social almost melted under temperatures reaching near one hundred degrees. Fortunately our incredible team pivoted instantly to bring the entire celebration inside. The beautiful sound of lively ...music and cheerful mingling perfectly filled the cool air conditioning. Even though the sudden venue change made snapping photos a little tricky, the candid moments we did capture radiate pure joy.

Forget boring afternoon snacks because we do things much bigger around here! Our culinary team challenged the Independent and Assisted Living residents to a bright and delicious project today. Everyone unleashed their inner chef to build completely custom rainbow fruit kabobs bursting with fresh ...flavors. We topped off the vibrant creations with a festive Peep to celebrate the spring season in style.
