#Mukbang 😋... a Korean term used to describe an “eating show” broadcasted online 📱. Inspired by recent TikTok taste-testing trends, our residents ventured out to our local Pan-Asia Supermarket to explore various international foods & snacks 🍱! Enriched with over 10,000 different ...Asian products, our residents were thrilled to peruse the store and bring back some treats of their own! Japanese Lays chips with flavors of seaweed 🍙 (10/10!), Indian Hide & Seek cookies (a delightful blend of graham cracker and chocolate chip cookie 🍫 taste), Ginza strawberry cake (fluffy, with a strawberry-like fig Newton 🍓 flavor), mini koala 🐨 shaped stuffed bites from Korea, & much more! Shirley exclaimed, “These chips are more flavorful than any American ones I’ve tried for sure” 🤩! Our residents were delighted with their choices & are eager to repeat the experience 🔥! We are grateful for the opportunity to venture out, try new experiences, & learn more about other cultures 🌎.

Watch out, world! The Rigden Grannies are hitting the slopes for some serious snow tubbing fun at Hoedown Hill! ❄️🎿 Who says age slows you down? Let's show 'em how it's done! ❄️😊🤪

✨Story Time: Reunited after decades apart! 🌟 Joyce's heartwarming reunion with her dear friend Kumar brought tears of joy to our eyes at Cedar Lake's Monday Afternoon Tea. 💖 Their friendship, forged in 1986 at a restaurant, stood the test of time and miles. Despite Joyce's ...move to Cedar Lake and Kumar's journey from Sri Lanka, fate intervened to bring them together once more.

🎉 The entire community gathered in excitement, hanging onto every word of their incredible journey. Joyce's smile, radiant as ever, illuminated the room as she and Kumar reminisced about old times. 🌱

Kumar's heartfelt words echoed the sentiment shared by all: "In January 2024, driven by a longing to reconnect, I embarked on a mission to find Joyce. The moment our eyes met, time ceased to exist, and we were transported back to our cherished past. 💫 Her embrace filled me with emotions, reaffirming the strength of our bond."

As stories unfolded, laughter and tears mingled, celebrating Joyce's journey from Iowa to Chicago, leaving behind a legacy of grace and kindness. ✨ Together, we savored every moment, grateful for the memories that knit our hearts together. 💕 #Reunion #FriendshipGoals #joyfultales

Hear From Residents and Family of The Enclave at Gilbert Senior Living!

The Enclave has a serious staffing problem in the dining room. Most days, the wait for service is long and they frequently run out of food selections such as soup and ice cream.

My dad just moved into the Enclave at Gilbert and loves it. The staff have been so welcoming, and he loves the conversation with the other residents. He was worried to give up his house but wishes he had moved years ago. Thank you to all the staff for helping him make this big move go smoothly.

As an employee going on 2 years it has been an amazing experience working for Spectrum. They take true pride in their communities. Consistent support from regional and corporate. I might be biased but we are truly blessed with the best residents, coworkers, and families. I truly love being apart of a team that gives 110% in each department to serve our residents. I would highly recommend this location for your loved ones, the care provided is outstanding.

The management, kitchen staff and employees are extremely welcoming, friendly and they all work together like one big happy family. I love living at The Enclave at Gilbert! I enjoy using the heated pool in the winter, it's great for exercise class. There are so many good food options in the dining room, I can't ever decide what to chose because it's all sooo good! I have met some really great friends while living here at the Enclave.

Words can't describe how appreciative I am for the excellent care my grandmother received while residing in assisted living at The Enclave. When we first brought her to The Enclave, she was on hospice care, so we knew we didn't have too much time left with her. While my grandmother was only able to spend a couple of months at The Enclave before she peacefully passed, I am absolutely certain that she would have loved to have lived here on a permanent basis for years to come. The caregivers, dining staff, and administrative staff were all absolutely phenomenal and truly treated her like their family. It was such a heartwarming thing to have seen and helped us feel reassured that she was in excellent hands for those parts of the day when we weren't with her. I absolutely recommend this senior living facility.

We toured a few different assisted living facilities, and this was our favorite. Beautiful facility, and everyone was kind and friendly.

I know I'm only one person, but it has been my experience that if your loved one is reluctant about "a senior living community", The Enclave At Gilbert is a remarkable option. My mother came here under "needed circumstances", but really wanted to live with us. This was not possible (for a variety of reasons). We turned to The Enclave, looking first at "Independent Living" (IL). Although The Enclave has a thriving IL community, my Mom's needs were best suited to Assisted Living. From our initial tour, through intake, through setting up my Mom's beautiful apartment, we've been supported by The Enclave's amazing staff. The staff is truly the "kingpin" of The Enclave! My Mom has privacy when she wants it, an exhaustive list of FUN activities (on and off site), tremendous medical care (which comes to her door), loads of friends, security and happiness!IT TAKES TIME. Any one undergoing such a life change takes time to adjust. But my Mom has been living at The Enclave for about 5 months and she now thinks of it as home. We, her family, have felt supported and listened to. We all feel cared for. The folks at The Enclave show us all that every day.

I own a local moving company and we frequently go to this facility multiple times a month to move people in and out. So, we work with the staff and are in and out of the rooms moving people in or out. Their staff is very inviting and very friendly. They go above and beyond for their customers and the facility is always very clean and we enjoy going there because of how great the facility is. The customers that we move in and out say nothing but positive things about the facility and how helpful the staff is.

I spent the last week at The Enclave at Gilbert, and this is a beautiful community! The residents here are engaged, vibrant, and excited about what the community has to offer. The Executive Director, Mindy, as well as their Director of Nursing, Vanessa, were so welcoming. It is a pleasure to be in this community. I highly recommend the services that are offered at the Enclave.

My wife Mary-Lou and I have lived at the Enclave for a year and have seen great improvement in the food area, especially the last 2 months. The attitude of the kitchen staff must be credited for this. Actually the attitude of the staff in all areas of the community should be commended and is a direct reflection of our Directress Diana. The number of activities and quality of activities is almost overwhelming at times. You will never say, "there is nothing to do". After reviewing all the other similar communities in the area I can honestly say the Enclave offers the most amenities and truly feels like home.

My parents will be moving into The Enclave at Gilbert in August and we couldn’t be more excited! They will have a nice apartment within walking distance to food, friends and fun! They have met some great people who will also be living and working there and our family is so happy that they will be in such a beautiful, comfortable and fun environment to enjoy their golden years. Go take a look for yourself. Ask for Cathy. She is wonderful and she will take great care of you.
