I’ve taught fitness classes at Rigden Farms Senior Living facility for several years. I love the energy these seniors bring to the classes. I also love to hear their laughter during classes - especially our fun fitness class. The staff is wonderful & looks for varied ways to connect with the residents. They have different classes & activities to pique the interest of the residents as well as keeping them active. After all, motion is lotion! There are many opportunities to get involved not only with the surrounding community but within the facility as well. Seniors can use their talents to enrich the community if they so choose. There is great welcoming energy here.

We are "WehMo" (Cindy Wehmeyer and Mo Spence) and we always look forward to our monthly music performances at Rigden Farm Senior Living Community where love abounds! The community and staff share their warm-hearted "We're So Glad You're Back" kindness when we walk in the door, then adding "We'll be there...two o'clock, right?!" What joy we experience when we hear the community singing along to the songs we choose and relate stories of how music has shaped their lives. Enjoyed a Rigden Farm Senior Living Tour recently. Am a Retired Nurse. Sales Director, Allie Pilkington, & David Ferguson, Executive Director were a part of Tour. Sent me a packet of Rigden Farm Senior Living information by mail! ALL Staff were Wonderful! Apartments Classy! Dining Room and Service Incredible! Location in Fort Collins? Surrounded by Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Malls, & Services. Ample Parking for Independent Living. Multiple Floor Serviced by Elevators. One Outstanding Trait I especially noticed? Resident Smiles! Use of Personal Names in Greetings. Did not notice one sad face! Place is beyond Well Managed. Would Highly Recommend Rigden Farm Senior Living!

I have been living at Rigden Farm Senior Living for about 9 months. I am very pleased with the community here...friendly, welcoming, helpful, concerned about the welfare of each resident. Both staff and residents have made this place feel like home to me. There are many activities for residents that we can participate in...one of which is the weekly Bible study group that is a regular for me. Easy access to an exercise room plus the service of physical therapists on site is another plus for me. Additionally, there are many types of apartments from which to choose, and the cost is very reasonable considering what is provided (including a great variety of foods at each meal). I could not ask for more in a facility for older folks.

As a twenty-five-year resident of Fort Collins, I had time to visit and review every senior living facility in a forty-mile radius of the city. I chose Rigden Farm for a variety of reasons; including location to nearby commercial areas, cost, friendliness of residents, staff interaction with residents, amenities such as gym, hair salon, in-house care options, the food and the offerings of a full calendar of recreational activities. I'm happy with the choice for myself and my husband. In nearly 18 months residency, I have "found my tribe" and made many new "old" friends. In addition to the programs offered, I am strongly supported in leading activities that allow me to share my skills and interests.I would like to recognize the contributions that Abigail, a young Activities Team member at Rigden Farm Independent Living, has made in my husband's life. Henry is 88, a retired nuclear physicist, with advanced vision and hearing impairments. He enjoys books via Audible and requires assistance choosing and downloading books. Two-to-three times a month, Abby schedules an appointment with Henry, arriving with a full page list of possible books on science, history, biography and other choices she thinks may interest him. She takes the time to read reviews of the books to him and answers his questions with great patience. She also suggests books outside of his usual interests and has expanded his reading to other genres. She has convinced him to read science fiction, "The Hobbit" and an autobiography by Steve Martin; books more light hearted than his usual heavy science tomes. These options have lightened his usual serious demeanor. More smiles!

Certainly I agree with other residents’ positive comments and don’t want to repeat. But will say a few words. I have lived at Rigden almost seven years and it is HOME. (I visited all facilities that were open at that time and the vibe I felt when checking them was the strongest at Rigden.). Does one make a decision on a vibe? I did because all other benefits offered by Rigden felt “this is where I belong!” My vibe was right on target. As new facilities become available with more features ( swimming pool for example) one is tempted to relocate. Fortunately, one is not me.Rigden is my community, my neighborhood, my family of new friends. My home where I happily live. And I don’t plan to move because the vibe continues

I have been living in senior apartment living quarters during the past 13 years. Rigden Farm Senior living is among the few that have provided a thoughtful program balancing comfortable apartments, varied food menus and activities for resident seniors.What has separated Rigden Farms from others is a staff that considers each resident as a unique person. Activities abound with the staff, and other residents, trying to match each person with the type and amount of activity they would be comfortable with.Including "no organized activity" if the person prefers a more solitary living style. I am one of those. But I joined a "Creative Writing'" class guided by a published author who also resides at Rigden Farms. What I am learning is that my many memories can be organized and enjoyed anew by composing and sharing short essays.In short, Rigden Farms Senior Living provides a unique opportunity to join a community that is welcoming, accepting, and supportive in surroundings that are pleasant and comfortable. Those attributes are enhanced by a management and staff which recognizes and values the uniqueness of each resident.

My journey to Rigdon Farm started with the computer and several facilities to then visit.Got my plane reservations and flew from Florida to my Grand daughters home in Ft Collins and started my look sees’.When I drove through the village to Limon and Iowa I was impressed at how convenient everything was to Rigdon. I could find everything I need within a 10 mile radius.Checked out apartments and found one that was perfect for my plants, with a plethora of windows. I’d found my village.The staff and residents interact as you would within a large family, with kindness.I no longer have to cook, I’ve something to keep me busy with activities throughout the day if I so choose. We have a lovely area where flowers and veg are grown, outside the dining area, and if you like can participate in the growing of themOur kitchen staff is very helpful in trying to please us all, which is a task unto itself.After 9 months, I can truly say, I’ve found my new village , filled with people and staff that make me feel I’ve chosen well.Four stars only because, nothings’ perfect..but this comes close.

Rigden is a warm and welcoming senior living community. The leadership and team who serve the residents living here are truly invested in their overall wellbeing and are dedicated to providing an engaging and joyful environment. I have been here for two and a half years ,and this is my first experience at a facility like this. I am enjoying the ease of living here. I don’t have to cook and I have wonderful company to eat with. The staff is so friendly and accommodating to a person. There is a great variety of activities. You can do as much or as little as you want. I would recommend it highly.

While it did not work out for my dad to move in here I was still very impressed with this facility. In particular, RIA was so sweet and helpful. If you are at all interested in this facility definitely speak to RIA. She is wonderful, helpful, and genuinely cares about the residents. I was very happy with all people I talked to and all interactions with Rigden Farms. They went out of their way to work with my husband and me.The interior of our patio home is very well done. The plan is well thought out. And condition was really good.My only disappointment was the exterior. The entry for guests is troublesome with other seniors needing to walk through grass and rock pebbles to enter our front door.And most landscapes have a little more uplifting landscape amenities for residents.But overall we are looking forward to moving in.Thank you to Kirstyn for all of her help and understanding.

My individual tour was so impressive that I took my Dad on the tour the next day. I will be taking my wife and Dad on the tour Sunday after church. The facility is nice, newer, larger, and more friendly than where my father currently resides. Equally impressive is that Rigden Farms Senior Living is significantly less expensive than what we have been paying! Rigden farms is about the best senior facility that we have toured in the last two years from Denver through Fort Collins.Kirstyn was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and caring. She took the time to listen, didn’t try to sell us anything,listened to what our goals were and patiently answered our every question and concern. The facility is over ten years old, but you would never know it, everything is bright and sunny, and the services cannot be touched by anyone else. We move in this Friday and we feel we have finally found “Home.”

My father recently moved into Rigden Farm after living in his Fort Collins home for 37 years; quite a transition for him to say the least! As his daughter, I had a plethora of questions, all of which were graciously answered by Kirstyn thereby easing my concerns. She expertly guided him to select his perfect new apartment.After two months I am delighted to report that my father is thriving in such a caring community. The entire staff at Ridgen knew his name by the second day. The very friendly and efficient dining staff learned his food preferences very quickly. (double scoops of ice cream please!) They visit with him during meals as though he was their grandfather. The dining room manager, Carolyn, models attentiveness and compassion and has expertly trained her staff to do the same.The front desk team, Dorothy, Sue, Samantha and Mia always take the time to ask about his day, encourage him to attend the multitude of activities and joke with him in a loving manner.Not only is the maintenance staff skilled and quick to respond, they are also friendly. Rick took the time to share flying stories with my father. I wonder if "fish tales" are next!The entire team at Rigden genuinely creates a caring community for their residents. I am very grateful that my father chose Rigden and I look forward to an enduring relationship with such authentic people.

Rigden Farm is a lovely, bright and modern senior living location. Each resident chooses their apartment from several floor plans. My father-in-laws has a small balcony which he enjoys sitting out on when the weather is nice. Each resident controls their heating and cooling and it is nice because those charges are included in the monthly rent. Everyday there are loads of activities for the residents to chose from. There are onsite services such as a hair salon/barbershop, gym, library, game room, movie theater and more. There is a nice large dining room where residents gather for meals and entertainment. We would highly recommend Rigden Farms Senior Living.

Rigden Farm is a very special place to retire! The building is beautiful, but you can build a beautiful building anywhere. What makes Rigden special is the people who live and work there. Before you even walk through the doors, when it's warm out of course, you see the residents there enjoying the patio-seating and truly LIVING. Then when you walk in, you continue to see how truly at-home the people here are. The staff who work there have a passion for seniors and it is evident. I would encourage anyone to take a tour and feel the difference. We provide home health services within the community and truly enjoy our time there!

After my mother passed away, my family agreed that dad needed interaction with other adults of his generation and was ready to settle into a smaller community that could cater to him. Rigden Farms in Fort Collins is an incredible facility with similar minded seniors. Dad and I toured several facilities in the Fort Collins area (where dad had retired to 22 years ago) and found the facility and STAFF to be just outstanding. Dad was welcomed right away by everyone and he is happier than he has been in months. So busy he barely has time to talk on the phone. :)

My Mom chose Rigden Farms, after visiting several Fort Collins independent living homes and one in Northern California, near my sister. She liked Rigden Farms because the people she saw were more interactive than the other homes; she liked the fact that each apartment has a patio or balcony; she liked the amount of activities available and the size and price of the apartments.My husband and I were pleased with the ambiance and light in each part of the home. My Mom is a volunteer and she visited with a resident who does the same. We are all thrilled with her choice of Rigden Farms. She is 94 and has the ability to take 6 buses to places in San Diego to get to her volunteer obligations. We all feel that Rigden Farms will give her a chance to be independent with no cooking!

I was able to learn about of the amenities at Rigden Farms and also share with them information about my senior move management company.
