You can find your perfect Senior Living community and stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wondering how you might find a Senior Living tour option that’s right for you when you can’t visit in person due to COVID-19 distancing measures — or because you’re in another state from where you want to move? Don’t worry! We offer a variety of virtual tour options so you can get the information and insight you need to make an informed decision without stepping foot on the property.
When you reach out to Spectrum Retirement, we will first discuss your needs to help you determine the most appropriate level of care and the apartment or detached home floor plan that best suits your needs. We’ll send you floor plans and pricing via email so you can review the information carefully.
From there, depending on your technology preference, we can schedule a video tour of the property or send you photos via email. Our video tours help put you right inside the apartment you’re considering — check out our video here to get an idea of what your personalized video tour will be like. Not sure about the apartment you see? No problem! We’ll help you determine what you loved about it and what didn’t seem quite right. We have a variety of floor plans to choose from in our communities, so we feel strongly we can find the one that’s just right for you!

Things to Consider Before Your Senior Living Tour
Choose for today. Always consider finances but decide based on what will make you happy and provide for you now. Don’t get caught up in the “what ifs” of the future. What makes you happy today? A balcony? Great neighbors? Awesome view? 2 bedrooms?
Think about why you are moving. We know the current state of the nation with COVID-19 can make people uneasy about change. However, there is a reason you are considering a move, and that reason probably shouldn’t wait an unknown amount of time in anticipation of world affairs resolving themselves.
Possibilities. Picture yourself living a care-free lifestyle and all the things you’ll do. Sleep in, pick up a new hobby or revisit an old one, check things off your bucket list, etc. Life is great when you have support and company!
Are you looking at other communities? What are they doing to help you make the best decision for you? At Spectrum Retirement, we take a personalized approach to ensure you’re getting the new home that’s perfect for you!
How do we make you feel? Empowered? Confident in your decision? That’s how we want you to feel when you live here. This is your next chapter. LIVE it!
Questions and Answers
I think it’s too soon to move into a Senior Living community. How will life be “better” here?
There is no “too soon.” Are you waiting for a life-changing event to take place before making a decision? Do you interact with friends of your own age on a daily basis? Do you have help on stand-by 24/7 should you need assistance? Are you currently engaged in daily activities? Are you aging fearlessly and living colorfully?
These are all questions to think about as you consider how life will be better at a Spectrum Retirement community and when planning for your Senior Living tour. Living in an environment like the one we create allows you to thrive and be supported when needed. A community setting offers an opportunity for daily interactions with peers that help maintain a social purpose. Very few people would turn down the opportunity to live care-free and spend time with their friends on a regular basis — all while being in a safe and supportive environment. It’s a win-win!
Many Assisted Living Facilities claim to be the industry’s “best” at care, food, etc. What are you “best” at?
We are the best at lifestyle fulfillment. This means offering opportunities for everyone whether they are searching for new and exciting or quiet and laid back. In some instances, knowing that there is staff on duty 24/7 helps fulfill a needed lifestyle.
Does your community have a “buy-in” or contract?
No, we offer month-to-month rentals with no long-term contracts. We do have a one-time community fee.
How will my lifestyle change if I move into your community?
We want this next chapter to be a great one. Your wellbeing is our top priority, which is why we offer a variety of services and activities at our three levels of care — Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
Our robust Entertaining and Programming department creates a variety of opportunities for your lifestyle to be enhanced through social events, classes, and programs! We offer daily activities to suit a variety of interests. We encourage our residents to live life to its full potential and urge them to “Age Fearlessly and Live Colorfully.®”
Of course, not everyone feels social all the time — you can spend quiet time in your lovely apartment that feels like home — without the worry and daily hassles of homeownership.
Is therapy offered at your community?
Yes, we have an on-site physical and occupational therapy provider. They are a Medicare Part B provider, meaning they can bill their services through Medicare and/or secondary or replacement policies, and in most instances, provide a more consistent treatment plan than a home health option. They are staffed in our communities Monday through Friday.
