Senior Living has never been so fun!
Resident activities are a top priority at Spectrum Retirement, and we go to extremes to ensure our residents live colorfully! While we can’t engage in these group activities right now, we can’t wait to get back to planning these activities for our residents.
We’ve pulled together some of our favorite resident videos from past events to brighten your day and give you sneak peek into life at Spectrum Retirement. From Kansas to Texas and a few places in between see our residents thrive as they enjoy new and long-loved activities. Rest assured, these types of outings and activities will be back on the calendar of events as soon as it’s safe for residents and our team members!
For residents from Park Meadows Senior Living and Shawnee Hills Senior Living in Kansas an afternoon at the ballfield topped the list of fun resident activities. A sunshine-filled day at the Royals game made a for a fun-filled afternoon – they even made the Jumbotron!
Dancing with the Stars in Arizona! Complete with flashy costumes and fancy footwork, residents got tips and tutorials before their on-stage performances. (We love the moves at 1:11 followed closely by the stylish pair at 1:24. Just watch them all!)
Indoor sky diving in Texas. Our adventurous group of residents from Lake Travis Independent Living took the dive. 84-year-old Tom said “It’s a BLAST!”. Bet you can’t watch this video without smiling! Read more about this adventure!
A themed dinner at Hilliard Assisted Living & Memory Care was made complete by an unexpected show! Don’t miss the piñata pounding at :22 and the kudos and laughter after that.
